The synopsis

Last call for mankind

Vanessa Cartwright runs junk between dead moons for a living, keeping her head down and her debts barely paid. When a routine salvage run turns up a derelict carrying a weapon the Coalition swore it destroyed, her quiet life detonates. Hunted by Mogar, destroyer of worlds, and joined by Cosmo, her loyal LARS-11 droid, Vanessa is pushed from scavenger to symbol — and the people who wrote her off start looking to her to lead.
